Founded in 1959 by Don Lamp and Bill Rynearson, Lamp, Rynearson & Associates quickly became widely known and greatly respected for thorough civil engineering and accurate surveying. Lamp, Rynearson & Associates (LRA) has evolved in size and scope since launching the firm.
Our services center on land development, redevelopment, and community infrastructure. Civil engineering, land planning, urban planning, landscape architecture, GIS, 3D, construction administration, and survey are integral components in delivering a creative, feasible project. We believe a focus on sustainable design is important. We owe our clients new, creative, sustainable approaches as options to benefit both our client and our community.
It is becoming more important to be in compliance with erosion control mandated regulations. LRA’s in-house erosion control experts are knowledgeable and trained in erosion control monitoring techniques so that unnecessary fines can be avoided.
Innovation is the standard at LRA. We stay ahead of the rapidly evolving technological advancement of the engineering profession. Our technical staff is trained in state-of-the-art design solutions such as Civil 3D software and the newest surveying techniques. Our GIS (Geographic Information Systems) team can provide the visual and statistical means for clearly communicating data relating to a geographical limit. Animated 3D visualizations assist clients by creating virtual tours of a project before the first spade of earth is turned.
LRA team members bring diverse skill sets to the projects we lead. We identify our client needs and translate those desires into an inspired, functioning plan.
Our home office is in Omaha, Nebraska with an additional office in Northern Colorado. LRA is committed to planning and designing better communities. With nearly 100 talented men and women providing services to clients across the country, LRA offers leadership in all phases of a project. Clients include city, county, state and federal government agencies, private developers, industries, utilities and commercial ventures.
